Echinodorus grisebachii ‘Tropica’, also known as Echinodorus parviflorus ‘Tropica’, is a small, distinctive sword plant first discovered at the Tropica nursery in Denmark during the 1980s. This compact plant, typically reaching 5 to 10 cm in height, is ideal for the foreground or middle ground of aquariums. It forms a spreading rosette of medium to dark green, slightly bullate leaves that are narrow and obovate, resembling those of Samolus valerandi.
