Fast-growing plant with curled, grass green small pointed leaves. The leaves are close together on a fleshy stalk. The plant will compete with algae and is ideal for a starter aquarium. The plant does not need much light but needs a temperature of at least 22C.

Typically these bunches arrive with 4-5 stems (without weights) and are kept in water where there may be snails. Also note whilst, we buy Egeria from European stock where pesticides are never used but this doesn’t guarantee they are safe for tanks with shrimp. Always rinse well under luke warm water if you have any concerns.
